When you book a table in advance for an anniversary, you really expect to have a wonderful evening ahead of you. However, this was not the case, due to some of the worst service I have ever experienced. We arrived for our table booking at 8.15pm, and were given a table for 2 outside. After sitting for 15 minutes we received our menus. Another 25 minutes passed and we still had not had our order taken. After requesting to order multiple times, the manager had finally taken our order, even though he still asked us to wait an extra 10 minutes because they were so 'busy'. It's quite simple really, don't keep letting customers in if you can't handle the customers that are already waiting to be served in the restaurant. Another 30 minutes passed and we just got up and left because if you can't even get a 7UP out of the fridge and put it on our table then God knows if the food will ever show up! This could have all been avoided with a bit of customer interaction, explaining what was happening and updating us. However, even though he looked over at us several times, he still did not even speak a word to us about what was going on. Luckily we saved our special day by going round the corner to 'Indian Room' restaurant which was fantastic and they served us within 10 minutes even though they were very full. This is how to run a restaurant- it might be worth the manager of Libano checking this place out for some tips and advice in the future.
